Field Bodice

The Field Bodice is a fantasy-inspired bodice designed for comfort, movement, and everyday wear. Structured enough to provide support yet flexible enough for long days on your feet, it offers a clean, natural silhouette without feeling restrictive.

This bodice features spiral lacing, which allows the fit to adjust smoothly to the body and distributes tension evenly. Spiral lacing requires only a single lace and offers ease of wear and adjustability throughout the day. The bodice may also be made for modern criss-cross lacing, depending on preference.

Designed to be worn over a shift and paired with skirts or petticoats, the Field Bodice works as a versatile outer layer for Renaissance Faire outfits, fantasy wardrobes, or thoughtfully layered everyday looks. Its simple lines and natural materials make it equally suited to practical wear and imaginative styling.

Materials:

• two layers of 100% linen fabric
• one internal 100% cotton twill layer
• plastic boning

Each bodice is constructed with three layers: an external linen layer, an internal cotton twill layer for structure, and a linen lining. Light plastic boning is included for additional support.
